Dorset Chamber Choir presents:

The Tudor's Byrd - an introduction to the choral music of the Tudor era

 

Join Dorset Chamber Choir and John Watkins, our Musical Director, as he explains a little of the history underlying the development of Tudor choral music. The choir will be illustrating the talk by singing various items of Tudor music, including the well-known and much loved Mass for Four Voices by William Byrd.

 

This will take place at Broadstone United Reformed Church, Higher Blandford Road, Broadstone, BH18 9AB on Monday 20th October, starting at 8:00 pm. Admission is free, although donations (cash only) are encouraged.
